Introduction to the realities of life with a “domestic fox”.

This seminar would be presented with the goal of finding potentially qualified adopters for 100 rescued foxes, that are in dire need of permanent placement at qualified facilities & private homes.

We are starting a training program at Clevyr, that both facilities & individuals can join, with a committed intent to adopt at least one rescued farm fox at the end of the training and certification.

We will guide potential adopters through the basics of fox care, ownership, and best practices.

In this seminar we will highlight:

Legality:

Discuss state and federal licensing requirements.

Fox Care:

Discuss the basic care that foxes require.

Fox Behavior:

Discuss the differences & similarities in fox behavior in comparison to traditional pets like cats & dogs.

Enclosure Requirements:

Discuss housing options, safety features, budget friendly designs and options, and help to identify which option is the best fit for each individual or facility.

At the end of the seminar, we will welcome anyone still interested in adopting a fox to join us for a more in depth personal training program, to help them become prepared and qualified, or help already qualified adopters move forward with their adoption process.
