A clevyr way to contribute

Volunteer with us!

THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

COME BACK LATER!

A fundamental part of keeping our sanctuary running smoothly is having enough hands on deck to help with chores!

We need dedicated volunteers who are willing and able to get dirty and work hard. Caring for foxes is not glamorous, it’s hard work. You will sweat and you will get poop on you.  Volunteering with us will consist of hard work, but we also hope that it’s rewarding work.  Our primary needs include but are not limited to:

Spot cleaning enclosures daily
Deep cleaning enclosures weekly
Cleaning up play yard
Feeding & watering
Meal prepping
Administering preventatives & medication
One on one socialization with foxes
Photography & Videography
Monitoring play yard time
Helping to keep common areas clean & tidy
Enclosure & play yard maintenance
Building Projects such as new enclosure or enrichment construction as needed

    WE VALUE DEDICATION.
We are not looking for volunteers who will come one time to meet the foxes and then never return, we are looking for people who are willing to dedicate at least one day a month to contributing to the care of the foxes and the facility. We are open to short term volunteer opportunities for people traveling long distance but it is critical to understand that your time here isn’t meant to be just a tour, we need your help. We may have short term volunteer opportunities available for certain projects.

We welcome volunteers of all varieties!

We welcome volunteers age 14 and up, with parent/guardian supervision for minors. Anyone interested in volunteering will need to be able to be respectful to the animals, team, and property and able to follow directions and complete tasks that may be strenuous.

Heavy lifting isn’t a requirement for all tasks, but is a helpful skill. If you have any disabilities that may hinder you from certain tasks or require accommodation we can do our best to work around those needs.

Experience working in a professional or farm setting with animals, especially wild canid species, is a benefit but absolutely not a requirement. You must however be confident in working with animals.

If you have made it this far, and still want to volunteer with us, please review the following forms. All forms must be completed and submitted to be considered for volunteer work. Completing these forms does not guarantee you will be selected. A phone interview will be required to ensure compatibility, compliance, and understanding of the tasks available.
